What we love this week

October is just about to finish, which is so sad, we love October! So many beautiful things that only flower around this time of year, particularly the Waratah. It is such a distinctive flower, and would you know it, it's even the floral emblem of New South Wales. We love it because of it's bold structural form and vibrant red colour, although it does also come in white which is really special as well.

Our favorite things

This week has seen a lot of cool new things come into the shop, notably some navy blue embossed paper *sigh* we are so enraptured with it, with white lilies it's just sublime and reminiscent of the sea and all things nautical, which is a strange thing for floral design I must admit, but nevertheless we love it.

Also in are 15cm fishbowl vases, they are super cute.

Wow, what a month!
July was the first month after our big move... it has been a crazy ride, but things are settling down now.

Oh no it's Valentine's Day!

Well, not yet but very soon. On Sunday the 14th of February. But don't stress darlings, we're here to help.

We deliver all over the Gold Coast: Ashmore, Southport, Parkwood, Molendinar, Arundel, ...all over. Most locations we can do same day delivery. And, we will be open for Valentine's Day! But don't leave it too late, we wouldn't want you to miss out.

Lily and Orchid Wedding

Here is a wedding we did recently...


It includes oriental lilies, Singapore orchids, and Xanadu leaves.
The main bouquet is an informal tear-drop bouquet, the other items are a guys buttonhole and a flower girl posy using Singapore orchids.

Corporate Functions

Whether it's just an arrangement for the reception table, several table settings, or a striking display, flowers add that special touch to any function. A variety of flower types and styles are available.

Seen above are arrangements with Cymbidium, Mokara and Spider orchids, as well as "yelloween" lilies, spinning gum, dusty miller, plus various foliage.

The arrangements below include many striking tropical varieties such as crab claws, ginger beehives, heliconias, luecadendrons, and cordifoliums.

Wedding Bouquet

This kind of bouquet is my favourite... a simple and sweet posy of roses.

This one is made using a delicate pink rose called 'Sweet Avalanche' and bordered by Camellia leaves.
